Today’s service was all about gratitude!
One of our life-long St. Mark kids, Zoe C, just graduated from high school and wanted to show her gratitude to her St. Mark family for all their support and love throughout her life among us.
Zoe worked along with Pastors Beth & Eric to plan the service. Being a musician, Zoe showed her appreciation by providing a good share of the music for today; she played solos on the cello and marimba, and performed in ensembles with other St. Mark kids, Zach C (brother, conga drum), Benjamin M (saxophone, buckets) and Mya A (cello). She was also accompanied on one piece by her Dad, Brent C, on piano.
The sermon, titled “Gratitude x 4”, consisted of four speakers sharing their thoughts on what gratitude means to them. To listen to the speakers, Retired Pastor David N, Pastor Eric U-G, Pastor Beth U-G and Zoe herself, click below. Zoe’s message is also included in written form below.
Today was a wonderful celebration of thanksgiving, of appreciation, and send off for Zoe as she begins the next phase of her life in college.
