Pentecost is a day of promises fulfilled.
The promised Spirit of God is poured out.

Everyone who calls on the Lord will be saved.
The gentle, breezy, gusty Spirit of God will descend on us.
There are three things that the Spirit reminds us:
1. Who we are.
2. We are gifted.
3. We are pushed into the future.
We were asked to turn to our neighbor and say to them: ‘You are a loved, forgiven, gifted child of God.’
Jesus said that our Faith is a rescue operation that must pay attention to the poor.
