Please join us Saturday September 17th at 0900 for our 5th annual Potato Harvest. In a few short hours we can harvest over a ton of potatoes if many people join us. It is a really fun day – especially for the kids as they play “treasure hunt” as they find the potatoes. Kids and adults of all ages are welcome – member and non-member.
The Thurston County Food Bank is the recipient of the potatoes. We usually harvest at least a ton of potatoes which go to the needy in our community. We have been harvesting many other crops all summer, and the potatoes are the last to come out – and they are heavy and there are a lot of them so we need your help!
Please bring a big bucket, shovels or other digging implements, and we will make short work of this task. Pray for sun as it will be much nicer if the potatoes are clean and dry!
