Go, proclaim it, live it!

Do you see yourself as defined by your profession or what you do/did for a living? Or do you see yourself as something more…perhaps loving, kind and wise? Pastor Beth’s son figured out at an early age something that a lot of adults haven’t. That is…how we live our lives is different from our job.

Paul wrote a reminder to the Corinthians that God calls us to be loving, kind and wise. He described love as more than a feeling; it is lived out in actions. God wanted his people to know the way to love, to reach out and share the word of love and hope, especially to those who need it the most. This calling is challenging; along the way we will be tested and rejection is almost certain. But He says, “Don’t be afraid, because I am with you”.
