Joe grew up in Olympia the youngest child in his family by ten years. He has four older sisters and one brother. Before he started attending St. Mark he was Catholic and attended Sacred Heart and St. Michael’s in Lacey and Olympia.
Joe is employed as an insurance agent for Bankerslife. He works with all aspects of retirement which includes life insurance, long term care, Medicare and investments. Joe has been with Bankerslife for one year and “absolutely loves working for such a great company”.
Joe married Janice R (St. Mark members Kevin and Elaine R’s daughter) on August 2, 2014. In his leisure time, Joe likes watching any type of football, preferably the Huskies and the Seahawks. He also enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.
When asked about his impressions of St. Mark, Joe says, “I’ve been around St. Mark since I was about 16 years old and really was drawn to the close knit, family-like community within the church.
Joe and Janice are a wonderful young couple who are involved in many ways with our St. Mark family, including playing on our softball team and contributing delicious desserts for the SAFI Foundation auction. Next time you see Joe, give him a big “Welcome! And GO HAWKS”!
