Vision. Some of us need ours corrected with glasses. Pastor Beth told us a story of her own visual correction.
There is another type of vision that we make the choice to see or not see.
Progress is being made but we still have a long way to go in dealing with the injustices in life, such as racism, domestic violence, homelessness, hunger…….we can be in denial because we don’t have to see it.
Jesus, in all His glory with His eyes wide open, always identified with those suffering and outcast by society.
We may have to go looking for Jesus in places we do not want to be.
We have to look at our self and ask who are we…..are we who God called us to be?
