Have you noticed a shine on the pews in the sanctuary? How about the absence of piles of leaves in the parking lot? And the walls of the hallway…aren’t they whiter and brighter? All of this, and more, is due to the crew of hard-working members who showed up for the Fall Cleanup Day, Saturday, November 19. Snow had to be brushed away from the labyrinth before edging and weeding could be started, and the rain didn’t deter the “leaf re-location project”. The crew was small but mighty and quite a bit of work was accomplished. The day of cleanup ended with lunch and fellowship in the Parish Hall; sandwiches were prepared by Gladys and Stan S., and the clam chowder was furnished by Clean-Up Organizer and Foreman Kevin R. Thanks to all who participated in improving the appearance of God’s House as we launch into the season of Advent.
