I know snow is on the ground right now (February 28) but gardening season is right around the corner! We have amended a 6,000 sq. foot patch of ground for the potatoes we are growing for the Thurston County Food Bank. We are planting 20 rows of potatoes = each one 100 feet long.
ADOPT A ROW! We have one organization that has adopted a row for the season. This means they will plant their row April 9th at our ‘planting party’, weed it throughout the season, and harvest it in September. If your family, organization, or group of friends wants to adopt a row, contact Gail F, Garden Coordinator.
If you don’t want a whole row, but can help with our work parties, Save the Date of April 9th and 16th for POTATO patch planting!!!
